Chief Administrative Officer Stacy Maxwell

Stacy Maxwell has been with the District since 1999 and has been the District’s Chief Financial Officer since January of 2001. Throughout her tenure with the District she has been at the forefront of the District’s growth and expansion during both rewarding and challenging economic times.

Stacy oversees all of the District’s financial and budgeting components, employee benefits, contract administration, risk management, and overall business administration functions. She also oversees a financial services/budgeting contract with neighboring Fire District No. 4.

Stacy has developed a District budget document that has been awarded the Government Finance Officers’ Distinguished Budget Award since 2003 and a District financial report that has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting since 2005.

Born and raised in the Rogue Valley on a dairy farm, Stacy graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Business Administration/Management. Prior to her government experience, she worked for a stockbroker and as an office manager/controller for a multi-state construction company. Stacy is a member of Rogue Valley Finance Officers, Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association, and the Government Finance Officers Association.
