Request a Fire Engine or Station Tour

Tours of your local fire station or visits from an engine company at events are available upon request. Station tours last approximately 30 minutes and include viewing the fire engine, firefighting equipment, and other apparatus available at a particular station as well as talking to the firefighters about their job.

Events that we make every effort to attend: Events we do NOT attend:
  • School visits
  • Career fairs
  • Safety talks
  • Station tours
  • Public safety rallies
  • Private parties / birthday parties
  • Events to bring customers into your
    business-or-grand openings
  • Political rallies

Fire District 3 strives to be an active part of the community and we want to attend events; however, we have limited resources. Please review the following guidelines to verify that your event meets the requirements for us to attend. Please be aware even though your request may meet all the guidelines listed below, we may not be able to fill it due to staffing, response needs or other issues.

Tour Criteria:

  • A three-week notice is required for all requests.
  • Fire Station tours may be scheduled between the hours of 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM – Monday through Saturday.
  • Please understand that the staff attending your event may need to respond to an emergency call.
  • Group size must be 25 or fewer total participants (including children and chaperons). There must be 1 adult chaperon for every 10 children.
  • Please fill out the form below completely, being as specific as possible.

Crews and stations remain “in-service” during tours. Our staff may need to respond to emergencies at any time.  If they do, it will be necessary for the tour to end and your group to exit the station, please keep this in mind when visiting.

  • Due to our limited resources and heavy workload, we will not be able to fulfill Non-Emergency requests on July 4th
  • During Fire prevention week, we are limited to station visits only. (Typically, the second week of October).
The submitted form will go through the approval process. You will receive notification within two weeks of your event if we are able to attend or not. For more questions, you can call (541) 826-7100.
