The Training Division coordinates training and educational needs for all District members. This includes fire, emergency medicine, apparatus operations, hazardous materials, special rescue teams, supervision and leadership. In addition the Training Division assists with community training needs such as CPR and fire prevention education.
New paid firefighters attend an intensive seven-week academy that helps prepare the individual to be an active part of the Fire District team providing a high level of quality service to the community. The academies are held at the White City Training Facility.

New volunteer members attend a five weekend NFPA Firefighter I Academy put on by Rogue Community College in conjunction with Rogue Interagency Training Association. After completion of the academy the new member is assigned to one of the seven District stations to continue their training and completion of the one-year probation.
