Director

John Dimick: John is a retired high school Agriculture Science teacher and FFA advisor serving most of his career at Crater High School. John currently operates a small cattle ranch near Eagle Point. He is also active in Oregon county fairs where he judges livestock. He has served many years on the Jackson County Fair board, two terms on the Oregon County Fair Commission, and has also served on Fire District 3's Budget Committee.

Secretary / Treasurer

Cindy Hauser: Cindy recently (2009) retired from Rogue Community College after 23 years, most recently as Associate Dean of Instruction.  Public safety programs were her responsibility for a number of years, and she is particularly familiar with the fire science program in this area. Cindy is a long time puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Cindy was elected to the Board in 2009.

President

Jim Gillin: Jim started his Fire Service career with Fire District 3 in 1971. He retired as an Engineer in 2002 after serving the District for 31 years. Jim currently resides in Eagle Point. Jim was elected to the Board in 2007. Jim was appointed Board president July 2011.

Vice President

Colin Fagan: Colin is a Detective Sergeant in charge of the major case unit for the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.  He is a former paramedic and worked actively to get the AED program established with the Sheriff's Department. Colin was appointed to the Board in 2008 and elected in 2009.

Generally the Board of Directors holds their regular monthly meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 5:15 PM at the Administration Office, 8383 Agate Road, White City. The Board of Directors may also hold a Special or an Executive meeting when deemed necessary.

Director

Harvey Tonn: Harvey's father was one of the three founding members of our Fire District.  Harvey himself was a volunteer Captain with District No. 3 and has been a District Budget Committee member for the last 14 years. Harvey retired after 33 years of being a Teacher, Coach and School Administrator. For the past 19 years, he has been the President of the Crater Foundation which is a non-profit organization that raises scholarship money for graduating students of Crater High School.  He is a member of the Central Point Rotary Club.
